Education Concerns

India has the highest youth population in the World along with the second-largest Education system. While there is a rise in the literacy rate in the country, there are challenges across the country that need to be addressed. While the state and central governments are working towards enhancing the reach and quality of Education, there is also a need for equal participation from the private sector i.e Non-Government or Non-Profit Organizations (NGOs). Although we are aware of the economic and social progress we can achieve is accepted widely but we also need to ensure there are opportunities to grab for the less privileged.

Keeping in view of this accepted fact there has been a major thrust on education since independence, but as far as ensuring quality education in rural India is concerned it has always been one of the biggest challenges for the governments along with Girl Education. Our rural areas have been left less visited in the wake of high growth in other cities in India. One cause of rural poverty is the inability of children in rural areas to obtain basic education.

India aspires for universal compulsory primary Education, with its challenges of keeping poor children in school and maintaining the quality of education in rural areas, has been difficult to achieve. It is essential to convince everyone in rural India that educating himself, children, parents, and even neighborhoods’ must be. One way of spreading education must encourage every student and share the knowledge with each other. Here rural education requires special attention to achieve rural and girl education policy.

  • Rural Education

We have the largest number of illiterates in the world. While the numbers are concerning, the majority is concentrated in rural areas. The challenges surrounding rural India are many and the Help2Educate Foundation continues to be a plague along with the profiteering of Education that is invading rural areas and depriving opportunities to the lower-income sectors. We partner with local Non-profit Organizations across rural India to provide Education facilities to the underprivileged and support their journey to receive their share of Education. Our support include

  • Problems of Rural Schools Teachers compensation
  • School Employees
  • School Buildings
  • Technology Funding
  • Promoting Technology in Education
  • Creative fundraising for school operations

  • Girl Education

Girls’ education goes beyond getting girls into school. It is also about ensuring that girls learn and feel safe while in school; have the opportunity to complete all levels of education acquiring the knowledge and skills to compete in the labor market; learn the socio-emotional and life skills necessary to navigate and adapt to a changing world; make decisions about their own lives, and contribute to their communities and the world.

  • Basic Education

Basic Education is meant to capture the knowledge and skills needed to participate in the economy and in our democracy and is meant to comply with one’s duty to the world. We provide support such as stationery, uniforms, school bags, etc for students to ensure small support is given to the Child seeking education.

  • Midday Meals

Mid-day meals are an Education program that has changed the Education scenario in India. Providing one meal a day can bring children to school and it has yielded exceptional results especially in rural areas. For more than 25 years, various organizations have contributed to the Mid Day Meals program and we too are part of it to support children’s interest in getting educated.
